    Or you could use fabric crayons.

    You could trace their hands onto a sheet of copy paper and have them color in the handprint. Then iron onto white fabric or a white sheet.

    This is what I use too. The acrylic paints and the medium are very inexpensive and a little goes a looong way :wink: :D:D:D

    you are getting nice advise and nice ideas here !

    try a local hobby lobby or Michaels or JoAnns. will have fabric paint. use a fabric pen for the child's name too along with the hand print.. this will be a fun project !

    iron fabric to freezer paper and let them color the hands [no need for special colors if you heat set ]

    What a nice project for the kids to do and a wonderful gift for the child who is not well. Like all the suggestions - this is something I would like to do with my grands.
