Handquilting in the car
#92
I love to quilt and ride especially when you're on teh interstates and the scenery is just blah. Have you tried any of the neck lights so you can quilt after the light fails? If so which one do you like best. Cateracts are clouding my vision even in soome day light situations/days.

I am either quilting or beading. Doesn't bother me in the least and we travel back and forth to FL alot, so I save up some hand projects to make sure I have things to sew in the car. Takes a little figuring out what works best, but once you master how to set things up, I love it.

I needed something I could do in the car on a road trip to Minnesota in June and made yo-yo's. I am one that can't read in the car (can't even read a map if hubby needs me too), but making yo-yo's has been okay so far. I use the Clover yo-yo makers so stitches don't have to be precise and I only have to glance at the yo-yo maker, not continually looking at it. Maybe that's the difference.
