Hang it Dang It-what type of sleeve?

The thing I'm concerned about is the weight of the quilt held up by 3 stitches. The top of the triangle that is sewn into the binding is fine, but at the point???? I would try this method on a smaller quilt and use a regular sleeve on a large quilt.
