I'm not sure that you'd be able to find the kind of product that I envision. If you use the round sleeve mentioned by NJ Quilter, you could find some very flexible rod, easily bendable. You could insert this rod (I think it might be sort of like the snakes that are sold in hardware stores) into the sleeve. I'm pretty sure that you could get the rod in the correct size. The nice thing about it is that, if you decided to remove the quilt from the wall, it would be easy to remove the rod, after which you could easily fold the quilt.

I have a wire ring that I purchased years ago when doing macramae work to use for the bottom tier of a Christmas tree. Perhaps you could find something like that at Michaels or a craft shop or in a yarn/craft catalogue. Good luck
