    Default Hanging My Advent Quilt

    Hello Quliters!
I am new to the forum and quilting so hope you can help me solve a relatively simple problem.
I have finished two advent quilts for my grandchildren. They both have sleeves on the back. The sleeves are about 3 inches from the top of the quilt. I have 1/2" dowels to slip through the sleeves. The problem is the top droops over when it is hung. I think the sleeve is not close enough to the top. Any ideas on a quick fix for this? I have looked at several Youtube videos but all I can find is adding tabs before the binding is finished. My quilts are completely done.
Thanks for any thoughts you can share!

you could hand sew another tube on the top edge of the one already there. or sew tabs to the top edge that would show if you like that better.

You hand baste stiff interfacing sew-on to the back above the sleeve. You could also try iron on interfacing, but if this didn’t work, it would mess up the back of your wall hanging.

Thank you for the ideas. I made some tabs that I'm going to hand sew to the tube so it can be hung either way. Tabs can be just folded back and out of sight if the tube is used.
    Thanks again!

I might bend over the top 3 inches to the back and hand stitch the edge to the top of the sleeve.

I’ve been wondering if one could use a product like this to hang a quilt?
