Hankie quilt

A friend of mine and I made one years ago, but it was a comfort quilt for a little girl so I'm not sure how well it stood up. We sewed the hankie to a white piece of cotton to give it some body. Maybe if you used a soft fusible interfacing it might give your hankie more strength.
We gave it to a grateful little girl and called it a "Hankie Blankie"

I just saw Pat Knoechel (Eleanor Burns sister) at my LQS and she'd made a cute quilt with blocks of baskets. under the baskets she had put half a handkerchief. Very pretty.
