If you made 10 of each, why couldn't you alternate the stems so they are in line vertically instead of horizontal OR start one row with stems going to the right, next row to the left? It will kind of look like they are dancing. Let us know what you decide?
    Stems would go...

I always, and I mean always, have to giggle when I'm getting to the end of a quilt, whether it is the front, the back or the binding!! If every thing went smooth, I'd start looking for the mistake!!

I did one a few years ago and loved it so much, I did one of six of my barn quilts with a Daisy. Half white, half pink.

Or you could just alternate them, one stem going up, the next block with the stem going down, rather than each row all going the same way. It would add more variety, and you can use the blocks you have. You could even turn some of the blocks on their side for even more variety in the look of the quilt.
Although I love the pattern, it is not on my list to make.

It's going to be pretty when it's done.

Love your quilt and colors. This is on my list and I'm not sure I would have thought ahead about the count. Thanks for the warning!

    Default Happy daisy

YES, The HAPPY DAISY is definitely on my bucket list.....I have all of the material....just need the time...not sure I understand the problem....going to study this when I am not tired...

I think the stems all go the same way on the pattern that I have...

I think you reason you can't just put something else in there is because you also have to deal with the colors in the background. If you put a lefty (or a righty) where it doesn't belong, the light and dark colors won't land where they are supposed to. You would need to turn the flower upside down to get those colors right. Did we just make a new design? ? ? It's probably best to make two new ones, like she is planning.
