Default Happy I used photos to audition borders

I used my phone to take a few quick photo of fabrics for borders on a small quilt. The pattern Falling Charms was a video by Missouri Star Quilt Co.

This is a quick fun quilt, I believe I will make another with different fabrics.

I had originally planned on using the floral fabric border, however it was really drab as a border, I had use the colors in the fabrics for the quilt. I am happy with my choice..if you are undecided take a few quick photo and then relax and look at pictures before deciding. It really worked for me.

Ps I plan to used the striped fabric on bias for the binding.

What a cute quilt! I take pictures when I am trying to decide on borders too. Sure helps me a lot!

That's a great idea! I use photos to keep a record of which block goes where in case little fingers move things around.

I use photos via camera phone and my other digital. It's a great record. My DGDs have looked at some of the photos and I'll send them to my email for record of which ones they like.

I love using my phone to take pictures. I have a small space so it really helps me to get some perspective. I can't believe how much my phone does. I remember when I said I'd Never get a cell phone, now I can't imagine doing without it.

Photos work so well because we tend to see what is there. The brain tends to be more objective this way.

Looking with just our eyes we tend to see what we expect to see.

Oh, good job! While the brown would have worked, the pink is so much better. So bright and cheery. I really like it!!

Very NICE! I like the colors, the placement of the blocks and the borders you used.
