I have spent the haymaking my sewing room into a guest room for a 3 year old. We have some friends coming from North Dakota for a month (he is in the Air Force and on his way to Japan for 2 years with his wife and daughter). The father is from here but no one in his family has the extra room - so we invited them to stay with us. It was amazing how hard it was to pack it away - but I don't want the little one to get into anything that can be harmful. It has been a great many years that I have had to child proof my house.

I spent the weekend watching Free Quilt Shows (Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims) with marvelous talented quilters. Some were no longer here; so much talent, missed.
