I really was hoping I could get there, but no chance :o( So, I went to Jhittlesewing.com and bought a 10 pack. Still came out pretty cheap. With shipping it came to about $2.56 a blade. Still not a bad price. Hope to still get to HF but I'm not going to hold my breath. Thanks tho!

My shipment always arrives in great time.
Hmmm, I just went to their site and ordered the 10 pk and with shipping it was $18.90 and $6.70 S&H for a total of $25.60, so for $2.56 a blade still beats what they go for other places. Hmmm, did I order the wrong pkg?

I made my first visit to Harbor Freight today and it won't be my last!! I got the cutter with three blades and the only package of blades they had. And, yes, the price is $1.99 for the two in a package. I did get a rain check and the lady put down 10 packages without even asking. I asked her if she had heard that quilters were using them and she said, no. I also got the magnitized bowls that have been mentioned here. My daughter, Debbie, is in a wheelchair when we are out and is retarded so I know she didn't really understand what I meant when I said, " your dad wouldn't believe I would be in a store like this." He died ten years ago and loved Home Depot and Lowes. We looked all over to see what else I could use with quilting. Now that I know we have a store and where it is, I'll be watching the board to see if anyone has anything else from there to use. Thank you to all of you who have talked about the blades. Be Blessed Kathryn

I ordered 15 pkgs. yesterday, Figured even if they are back ordered, it's better than $5.99 for one blade at Hobby Lobby.

I went to a Harbor Freight store here in Cincinnati, today. There were 4 packs of blades. Since I was there on the 17th, they had obviously gotten in more blades.
BUT...they are no longer $1.49 a card - they jumped to $1.99 per card. At $1 per blade they are still a good value. I used my 20% off coupon and with take I paid 8.05.

I went by my local Harbor Freight to check if they had any blades in.. nope.. but the price tag on the space where they go was up from $1.49 to $1.99 this week.. I suppose we should expect more hikes as the time goes on..
