while at harbor freight check out their tweezers. they have a package of 6 long tweezers for around $7.00. Much easier to use than the short ones found at fabric/craft stores.

They are sold in the dept. where you buy house paint & supplies. Don't remember exactly what they're called but when I was searching I just clicked on the "paint dept" button & found the blades that way.

They are Carpet Cutting Blades and if they don't have the replacement packages just buy the carpet cutter for 3.99 and it comes with extra blades. Still cheep.

I bought two of these - a lefty for a friend, and a righty for me. The company maintained that their blades last five times as long as other blades. I have not seen any blades on sale here so will need to use an alternative when the time comes. The blades are $5.55 each in the States. They are very comfortable cutters to use and I think the ones I bought may have been samples as they were only $20 each. There were two sizes of blade - 45mm and 60mm.

They are not everywhere. They are also on line, although some of the more interesting things are in store specials. If you find a store, don't be put off by the fact that they are obviously intended for men. You have to look, because the clerks won't have a clue what you are talking about. I even got a piece of email addressed to Mr. Mary....
