Has Anyone Done Two Batting Layers, NOT on a Longarm?

I've used a 80/20 and a poly together. That way I added a little puffiness without adding much weight. I use the Susan Schamber method with boards so I just treated it as just another layer and everything worked out fine. The machine didn't care.
