Has anyone ever changed a Q-Snap Floor Frame to be more like the Ulmer frame?

Yes, I found the Ulmer completely by accident, and then started thinking about changing the Q-Snap. Guess I don't have enough projects to occupy me. 
LOL I just finished painting two rooms in my house and I'm getting furniture this weekend, so I won't get to even look at it until next week!
