    I was wanting to make a tumbling block quilt for my grandson and wanted to know if anyone has ever made one using strip piecing?

    I do it all of the time. I am planning on doing a tutorial next week. Still recovering from Paducah

    Looking forward to it! I've always wanted to do one of these, but the thought of set-in seams was very unappealing!

    Yes, I did many years ago but really did not like the look when it was done. Apparently some one did because I sold it. I also tossed the pattern so have no idea how to do it now. I did make one by machine recently using the set-in procedure and I found it to be quite easy and it turned out nice. Marge

    It is the same process as the class cutebuns did here for the OBW's. It is so easy to sew, I loved that there were not any "Y" or set in seams :D:D:D

    I saw one done in batiks and it was beautiful! Now I want to try one as I just got my clearview ruler.

    i made 1 block of the tumbling blocks and hated the set in seams! i would love a tutorial on strip piecing!!
