I was looking at their threads and thought they were good prices but didn't know if it's a reputable site or not (seems like it is but want to be sure).

I buy cone thread there a lot. Gutermann Mara 120 is what I bought and I really like it. It is the same as 2ply 50 wt. It is for commercial sewers to buy in bulk cheaper but still a good buy for one or few items. There are good sales every now and then. Sign up for the newsletter and to get the catalog. The thread and wts change a lot, hard to keep up with what is in stock.

    OOPs I corrected the info.

Thanks for letting me know. I came across their site and saw they had decent thread prices. Then had to enjoy looking at their other sewing bits and bobs. lol

Wawak has good prices and a large selection of sewing stuff, they don't have a lot of quilting supplies though, but their customer service is very good, at least it was the last time I ordered from them a couple of years ago. It's funny you mention them, because I've been thinking of having them send me a catalog, am going to be making my boys(dogs) some new beds and wanting to put zippers in those.

I purchase from Wawak. I have been very happy with the merchandise as well as the customer service. I really like the prices too.

I started buying from them when I lived about fifty miles from the nearest spool of pink thread from Walmart, let alone a fabric store. At the time, their prices for four cones of serger thread, even if I paid the five bucks to ship only them, were slightly less than Walmart. They are also terrific for needles, especially when they go on sale, and lots of other staples.

They were founded about 100 years ago and my late mom used to buy mail order from them in the sixties.
