DH and I both keep our respective hidey hole doors shut when people are in the house. My fabric over-floweth and his fly tying "stuff" is even worse.

LOL, I sometimes gasp. One day, the bulldog got in there, I had thought I closed the door....anyhow, she had a hey day, spreading my yarn all over.

If I cleaned up at the end of every day I would never get anything finished. I would be spending all of my time figuring out where I left off yesterday. Clean up at the end of the project is my motto. It's my home, don't judge.

Somebody would die if they did that at my house. Mama's sew cave is forbidden no man's land.

I cannot bring anyone into my space because you have to go through the bedroom and the hubby says no way.

Well, I aspire to me neater. It is a work in progress. I have had years of mental and physical illness which caused my house to become "Crapalot". So it's taking time to get things under control. Bedroom - check. Livingroom - check. Upstairs bathroom - check. DD's room - in progress :-) Sewing room - in progress!!! If it doesn't bother you or the ones you live with, then it's not a problem (unless it's a health hazard). If if bothers someone, then just work on it bit by bit.
