Thankfully 'ol "Hyachinth Bucket" isn't coming calling any time soon! IF she does show up unannounced ignore the doorbell! (smile)

I repeatedly say to my husband, "If you don't do anything, you don't make a mess!" He likes his recliner and TV; I like my sewing/crafting and show a lot more for it.

I am with you I need a clean place to quilt I was used to sharing my quilt stuff with the bedroom and had to clean up every night. Now I have a large sewing room in new house and keep it cleaned up every night . just a habit I guess. To each their own. what ever makes you happy

I do admit I have a messy sewing room...but know that I need that creative mess around me....if things get too clean and neat, I don't know where to find anything.

As long as I have a path and a spot for the dog quilt (she helps me quilt by napping), I am happy. Doesn't matter what others think, I live here and I can close the door if I think it could cause a stroke. Every time I clean it up and make it neat I can't find anything.

Same here. Sure wish I was a Jeanie and could just blink my eyes and it would be all cleaned up. My DH has even came in to help clean but then I can't find anything. Lol. Happy sewing
