Is it as hard as it looks or does the designer make it really easy some how? lol I have the layer cake and I love the quilt!

I don't think it would be that hard.

If your draw it out on graph paper, it looks to be actually pretty straightforward...squares, rectangles (double square) and hst's.

I bet it is one of the patterns that looks really complicated, but is super easy.

If you break this block down it really doesn't look to hard. The rows look like they would be sewn together on a diagonal.

It kind of looks like two boomerangs. I like it. Doesn't look very difficult.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I normally just have a go at it with my cutter and see what it ends up as. But seeing that I already screwed one layer cake up this year (following a pattern, used the INSIDE bite of the pinks instead of the OUTSIDE!) in the cutting stage, I bought the pattern last night. I found it cheap with free shipping. If I get it and its complicated, you will see it in the for sale section. lol I am in a lazy quilting mood lately. Although I love piecing and quilting unless its pretty straight forward and something I can get done in a timly manner I don't want to be stuck doing it forever. lol Bordum sucks, or maybe its just a touch of ADD!

    Thanks again!
