    I am making one now, where every block is different. Could not get enough colors of the same print, so I am using them on the wrong side. As the old saying goes, you pay for both sides, you might as well use them.

    I haven't tried it, but I read in the instructions for a watercolor quilt design that you could use the back of some prints to get a more muted effect, helpful in blending your colors.
