Default Has Anyone Seen Bow Tuck Purse With a Flap

Thought I had a picture in my files but have searched high and low and can't find it. Somebody (maybe not even from Quilt Board) had made several with flaps instead of a zipper or button. Seems the purse I was looking for was of black and white fabric and the flap fit within the width of the handles. Thanks

I agree, I have seen one somewhere buy don't know what the headline read. I'll do some searching and come back.

It isn't hard, just measure the width where you want it, measure the length you want flap, about 5 inches, cut 2 pieces of fabric, one of thin lining, sew right sides together with lining on one side, turn right sides out, sew into purse at seam line between purse and lining of purse, then sew you purse and lining together on that top edge. You may use velcro or buttons or snaps. Hope you understand what i'm saying.

I'm still looking for a unique flap for the bow tuck bag. She did several different shapes of flaps and they looked outstanding. Thanks for trying to help me find it.

Using the guidelines Oklahoma Peach gave, you should be able to design your own. Should be fun to get all creative!
