Question Has anyone seen the Clear Elmer's School glue?

I just returned from shopping and saw Clear Elmer's School Glue. I have used the white Elmer's school glue with binding a quilt.

I was wondering if anyone had used the clear and if so what your results were.

Beautiful day here in Phoenix, AZ - hope it is pretty where you are also.

I've used it on several bindings and I really like it better than the white. Works the same so far as I can tell.

I'll go looking for it. Sometimes you just can't find stuff here in town.

I bought the clear some years ago and still have it. I can't tell any difference using it from the white in basting fabric together.

Seems to me white would work better for me than clear -- easier to see where I've put the glue!

I have used both and as far as I can tell they work the same. Never thought I would be glueing seams and applique when I began quilting. I also like to use it to baste small quilts.

I dilute the glue with water just enough for it spread thinly. I use a one inch paint brush. It works great for a temp baste job for a larger area.

We're supposed to get snow here in WI tonight... ick! I hear it's supposed to be like 100 or something equally nutty for you this weekend! And so it starts...

I got the clear glue today. I will stick with the white. The clear seemed really runny to me.
