You did a great job on that! Super idea to turn it into a mug rug!
    Thanks for sharing.

Your mug rug is SOOO cute! Probably one of the cutest I've seen. I honestly thought at first that it was a project from the book because it looks like those letters were made for that.

    Hi Annie,
Your mug rug is stunning. I apologize, I started the post and should have written to you but it was an old post which I stumbled upon through Pinterest. I was only asking if anyone had seen the font. There are a bunch of smart gals here and it became a treasure hunt that they figured out with your mug rug as the treasure. It really is stunning and probably brought lots of blog traffic your way so hopefully all is good. Thanks for sharing your method.

I think the posts she means are the ones that say "I don't know why quilters post stuff without telling how to make it" and how there is "not one reply from the blogger in the comments". I don't think she means your post. I, for one, am thrilled that you posted it.

Yes, I was referring to the rather rude posts regarding my blogging habits. I like to take a pattern and change it up a bit to suit me. Nothing I make and share is a secret. I am willing to share and tell all to anyone interested. I think I'm pretty easy to contact. [email protected]

Debbie, no worries. Everything you did was fine. I found this thread because of the blog traffic coming from here. My heart sank with a couple of the comments for the very fact that I am always willing to share openly. I will in future keep in mind what has happened within this thread when I share something on my blog.

Annie, I love your mug rug. One of the cutest I have ever seen. Love the circular shape.....were the stitched circles hard to sew? Did you do that by hand or use a circular attachment on your sewing machine? Sew CUTE!!!

Thank you Sandrea. I don't quite remember, but because the circles do not look perfect, I think I drew the first (smallest) circle then stitched the others a walking foot distance away.
