I turned on the TV this morning and saw the last half of a show called LINDA MACPHEES' WORKSHOP - which had T-Shirt Embroidery & Wool Quilts - It was very interesting

The next show after that was Crafting At The Yellow Canary

    http://www.spottedcanary.com/

What a cute craft show - this one showed how to make a door wreath out of paper and door hanger for baby's room

Made me think of the olden days of Carol Duval....
Oh well, I guess change is good

I miss Carol Duval and Simply Quilts. I was fortunate to find the Fons and Porter show on BYU (direct tv channel 374). Seems crafting and sewing programs have gone by the wayside and the home improvement and gardening shows have taken over. Maybe write to our local PBS (or email) station and ask why these shows are not being shown.

The good craft and sewing show have gone. HGTV has gone off my list of stations to watch. I am not real intersting seeing someone bying a million dollar vacation home.

Ohhh I can't stand that woman! Don't aske me why,,,I'm not fond of her show, but I have seen some pretty neat things made on her show. Our station is down and has been for a few weeks and I have not been able ot get any of the quilting shows on. They could have moved them to a diffrent station until this station gets back on. I have not found it tho. HAve a great day, Huggies, Fay

Your right, craft shows have been replaced by remodeling or buying houses - even the "Green Channel" has has some weird shows on -

    I am feeling old....

Maybe now that the real estate "flip it" craze is dying down, they'll listen to us if we "kick and scream" to get our shows back.

Carol was the "Mrs. Rogers" of the quilting world in my life. I so miss her!

Thank you for pointing out the exact DirectTV channel! I realized I have that channel and found a couple shows other than F&P that I'm going to try!
