Default Has anyone taken advantage of The Stitchin' Heaven Experience?

It's all day trip to their shop with a bus ride, demos, lunch, and games. I'm thinking about it and wonder what others liked about it.

So my curiosity was peaked and I had to find out what it was all about. https://stitchinheaven.com/experience
For about $25 I think it sounds like a deal worth trying. Let us know all about it if you do end up going.

Kind of like a mini retreat. No responsibilities (gassing up, finding a place to eat, parking, possible driving in poor weather) friendship and company of other quilters -- what's not to like? I'd do it in a heartbeat if I lived in the area.

I don't like going into a store where there are signs telling you not to take photos.

Where in Texas? Texas is a big place. I just googled it and this would entail a 4 hour bus ride each way for me plus probably another hour to get to the pickup spot at that time of day. I'm not that enthusiastic about riding on a bus.

That sounds like so much fun. If it was in my area, I would love to go. Let us know how it turned out if you go

Thanks for sharing this. I might give it a try.

For those who don't know the area, Mineola, Texas is a small town about 85 miles east of Dallas.

It would be a good opportunity to meet some fellow quilters. Getting out of the city for a little while wouldn't hurt either.

I'm not sure I would do it from Houston, but it's closer to me, as I'm in Dallas and it's only 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
