Default Has anyone used both a Qbot as well as Quilt Artist?

Hi all! Just wanted to see if anyone here has used both the Qbot and Pfaff's Quilt Artist? I currently own a Viking MegaQuilter (9" throat) on a 10ft frame with a Qbot. I have come across a great deal on a Pfaff 18x8 Machine on a 12 ft frame with Quilt Artist. Was wondering how different the QA is versus the QB? Thankfully, it has been pretty smooth sailing with what I have now, but wanted to hear frim anyone that has used both. Thanks!

I have not used the Qbot, but I have Quilt Artist on my PowerQuilter P3. From what I understand, if you have mastered the Qbot, you will not have a hard time understanding Quilt Artist. It's supposedly more user friendly. Is there a dealer near you where you could go try it out and get more information?

I use to have the viking 18x8 with qbot. It was a great set up. Sold it and purchased a Babylock crown jewel with
Creative touch. I have not used the Quilt Artist however I agree if you have used the Qbot you should have no problem with the Quilt Artist.

Thanks that helps me alot! I would be gaining throat space which is great and the offer I have found is one hard to turn down...much like the great deal I got on my current machine, frame and qbot. I am guessing I can still use all the designs I have bought??

I haven't purchased any designs yet. I've only used the ones built into the Quilt Artist, but my dealer has many designs you can buy. I'm not tech-y but I believe it's just like with an embroidery machine in that you put the design on your USB stick which connects into your long arm computer.
