I have watched her use that before it was patented and I think it seems awkward and I don't like the blade being exposed when she isn't using it and putting it back in its stand seems another awkward thing to do. When I saw the price I just wasn't interested. Maybe it takes using it to feel comfortable but I just like being able to pick up my rotary cutter and exposing the blade and proceeding to cut.

She does have a video that shows how to change the blade. I've watched it and it uses the standard blade that other rotary cutters use. It can be viewed on her website.
There was no mention of what type of blades it uses and how you change the blade....the changing the blade could be awkward....I can see the screw inside...just wondering. This tool would be good for the slot rulers and ruler use, however curves and fussy cutting would be a problem since you can't see where you are cutting....strictly for rulers.
I can see that people with arthritis could benefit from it, but they too, would have to know that no pets or grandchildren will be around when it is in sight.
