I got the plastic sheets that friction stick to the back of your ruler. I think that stuff is the best of all. It has made my cutting way more accurate.

I've just been walking my hand up the ruler as I cut but that puts alot of pressure on your hand. I'm making a resolution here and now to get one of these aides to put on my rulers. Sounds like it's about a tie between sandpaper dots and Invisigrip on what works best.

A dab of rubber cement will work in a pinch, but I prefer the sandpaper ones.

I have some smaller plastic templates and I just got out my handy-dandy glue gun and put a little dot of glue on each corner. It doesn't take much and........it works for me. Be sure to get it smooth. If you don't get it the way you like it the first time it picks off and you try it again.

I use the static tape. You can't see it, but you can take it off and put it on anything. Its great on rulers and on the big squares too.

Steady Betty strips on JoAnns.com, last time I looked they were on sale for $1.79! Lots of strips and you use only a 1/4 inch pc on each ruler corner.:)
