Maybe she was just lonely and wanted someone to stop by to talk to because obviously she wasn't interested in selling her fabric. very odd woman.

I would have smiled at her and said " It looks like you already have this sold". Thanks for wasting my time. You have yourself a good day.

I don't think I would have been so nice, especially after all that time spent there. I probably would heve said, "well, do you want to sell it or not?"

I wouldn't have lasted an hour there. I'd have left within a few minutes!

I would have left without buying any material and I doubt that I would have bothered to call her back to tell her to go ahead and sell it to someone else. I would have just let her figure that out for herself.

We have a trading table at our guild and someone did this. The interested buyers soon lost interest, and she does this every time. Strange people.

I am sitting here scratching my head. People are sure strange. Why did she advertise something that she couldn't bear to sell? Makes you wonder doesn't it?

You have more patience than me. I think I would of left after 5 minutes. I watch American Pickers on TV. It's amazing how hard it is for some people to let go of things that are just sitting there and will never be used.
