I have had a problem a couple of times with a local sewing machine dealer. In the past I ordered an embroidery card from them. It was backordered but they billed my credit card. The bill came with the charge on it long before the item finally arrived. It is my habit to always pay off my credit card each month. I was not happy paying for something I had yet to recieve. I am having the same problem with them again. I purchased a new embroidery machine from them and paid cash. I ordered a larger hoop from them and put it on my credit card. I just got my statement with the charge on it and still no hoop. It has been more than a month since I ordered the hoop. If the items I needed were available from anyone else in this area I would never deal with that company again.

I think I would ask the dealer why they do that. I can see them charging a deposit, but not the full amount. Some places just don't know how to deal with customers properly; guess they don't care if they get return business or referrals.
