    Smile Have bought a Janome MC 5700 ON EBAY.

    Hi Have just bought a Janome MC 5700 on Ebay would love some advice on whether anyone still has one ,what they are like to use easy? or not, any little quirks .Am in Australia so know some things might be different over there .This is my first post so any comments would be welcome

    Ahhhhh, it's always so much fun to get a new sewing machine. Congratulations! I don't have one, but they are very popular at my LQS. They seem to have a lot of features for the money. Did you get a new one or used one?

    Welcome!! I don't have that model, but I have a Janome MC 7700. My other machine is a Bernina and I think they're both great machines, but the Janome is much quieter and seems to feed the fabric more smoothly. The user manual (I hope you got one) is great - written so it's easy to understand and illustrated. I don't know what special features the 5700 has, so I can't compare, but if it's a Janome, I'm sure you'll love it!!

    Thanks for the warm welcome Its a used one quiet old I think as the lady that owns it is unable to use it anymore because of illness.Hopeful it will come with manual. Do have a pfaff exp 4 and have owned 6500 Janome in the past great machine but just wanted to try embriodery hopefully it will have this feature still working and some nice alphabets too lol

    i have a MC 5700 janome just love it have had to have it adjusted once bought it new years ago great machine you can order manual if you dont have one.
