Oh dear, I feel for you but you have to be sorta jumping for joy that you found it now rather than later...sort of a "glass half full, not half empty" moment. Me, I sewed a corner of my backing folded over into my quilting this afternoon...groan....looks like we're both going to be doing some "unsewing" tomorrow!!!!

Oh yes, been there, done that!!! I was trying to finish a quilt before Christmas a couple years ago, and had a pretty bad cold so I was in a little bit of a daze. But I HAD to finish this quilt. I sewed the borders on backwards, the exact same way TWICE (backwards as in putting the seam on the face of the quilt rather than the back).
That's when I finally realized that sometimes waiting to do something saves more time than just going forward anyway when your brain is in a fog!
