great idea! I will be looking for a mailing tube or something. As for the larger ironing board, my DH fixed one for me a couple of years ago. We used an old ironing board (from resale shop) and he bolted the new top to the old board. I covered it with some cotton quilt batting and some of the silver looking stuff to resist heat and stapled it all down on the underside and "I love it".
