Have you changed your rotary blade recently?

I changed mine about a month ago....and did the stupidist thing....I held onto the blade edge and pulled.......you've guessed the rest....fortunatly the blood went onto the table and not over my work....wasn't as serious as it could have been but took a good couple of weeks to heal completly.
I cannot believe I did something so stupid...haven't changed my blade since but when I do I will be wearing industrial thickness gloves !!

True, so true, I always try to stretch it out for just one more cutting session, I'm going to cut a snw next so I'll be forced to change it.

I think we're all guilty about trying to get the most out of our blades as possible. I just changed all mine and was flabbergasted at how smoothly they cut for me. Never again, I will change them once they start getting harder to cut as it just makes cutting so much easier and saves on a lot of frustration.
