Why didn't you post it here to sell to someone? I'm sure someone would have loved it!
Or bring it to a Goodwill or Salvation Army.

I see it as a backgound for applique of trees, houses, or palm trees etc. Looks like a sunset.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Nope, like them all and waiting long enough, some colors/patterns come back in style. There are some colors I have more of, some less, but I try to keep a balanced stash. I noticed that I have no florals.

I like most all colors but use very little purple, orange or brown. I went through my stash a few months ago and sorted all of them into colors so I could see what I needed or what I don't need to buy for the rest of my life.

I'm not sure that I should admit this, but I must be the only quilter who doesn't like batiks. I haven't even forced myself to use them, in fact I don't even look at them in my LQS.

For the longest time I loved to use solids. What was I thinking? Now I am trying to use them up in sashings and borders, or backgrounds, but not like I used to

How did so much solid brown get in my stash? And what about all those striped fabrics?

No, I have never gotten tired of one of the colors. I still love them all although some of the fabrics are waiting since many years for use.
I am always very eager to use new farbics first but I really try now to use the older one. They are all beautiful.
