Yes, I have. I added a small 1" border of red. My DD loves black & white.

I'm working on the black and white quilt with the blocks we exchanged 2 years ago. I'm using solid lime sashing and borders. i'll post a picture when I finish. I have enough blocks to make 2 quilts - haven't decided what the 2nd will look like, but i'm leaning toward an on-point setting.

I will be, but I am still collecting B&W prints. It will have a little red in it.

I just came from a quilt show judging and the judge is a national judge and said she likes to teach as she judges. She told us that if you are piecing white and black fabric together always use black thread to do the piecing. She says it won't show up as much. I don't quite understand why because then the black thread would show up against the white. I'm just repeating what she told us.

As a matter of fact, I am currently working on a B&W quilt with a bright yellow accent. I just finished a B&W wth lime green.
