I have a couple of scrappy quilts that are just so scrappy with no theme or design, just scraps randomly sewn together. These tops were made before I understood anything about value, etc. I put them away and didn't plan on wasting the time or batting/backing to finish them. But they were just what I needed when I got a sit-down longarm and needed some practice on larger quilts! My mom actually liked one so I gave it to her, and the other one is in the living room for us to use if we are eating, etc. I really don't care if someone spills food on it or if the cats shed on it. So I think any quilt has at least some redeeming quality to someone.

But your purple quilt.... I love it!! I can't believe anyone would not like it.

Love your quilt. I only make what I love now. Quilting is my me time and I do it to make me happy. As long as it makes you happy that’s all that counts (although from the posts it makes many people happy).

I think it is pretty and one that will be much loved by others. Your talent is obvious. Yes, I have made quilt(s) that only I can love. DH says he love all my quilts but there is one here or there that fall into the category of, "No one but myself will ever see this one."

lots of them. But I don't care what other people think so maybe that is why it doesn't bother me.
I don't like modern art, doesn't mean the artist had to care what I think.

and your bargello will be stunning. I lust for your scraps

I think your quilt is so pretty and it will be loved by you and you can enjoy it every day.
Yes-I have made a quilt for Christmas and when I showed my family they thought it was cats in each block and actually it was Christmas packages!!
I was hurt at first but thought that I would enjoy it just the same!!!
