I have. I made an alphabet quilt--each letter represented a flower that was embroidered on top of the letter. First one I made in 1990, second one I made in 1996--still have both quilts--we use them both in our family room and I still have the pattern

BTW, I do NOT forsee a third in my future! lol

As much as I love the challenge of a new pattern, there are times when the comfort of going to a well known pattern makes the process so enjoyable. I do a lot of scrappy quilts, so no 2 quilts are ever quilte the same!! and yes, I've done the same pattern over and over again!!

I have made the same quilt several times. Carpenters wheel I made four times. and turning twenty I made four times and I have made five or so D9P. I also made two D4P. I love fast quilts for giving as gifts. If its going to be a difficult pattern i am keeping it for me. I know what I am going to do with a quilt. I don't know what someone else is going to do with it.

absolutely...when I see something that I really like, I just keep going at it.

Always for gift giving...or for myself.

I have made them the same pattern more than once but always different colors. Mainly Radiant Lone star(4 and hope to do more) and a Snoball denim(2), Feathered star wallhanging(6) and a few more love to see what another color does to the mix. The silhoutte pictures I do I like to flip and do the opposite direction too. Many table runners have done more than once just with a change of colors.

Usually for gifting, but sometimes just to see what it would look like.
