I have seen this!! I'd love to try it, but I don't know who I would get to duct-tape me! My mom is far away and my best friend has a wicked sense of humor AND a short attention span...

I don't see why they would last a long time, as long as they weren't smushed!

One thing about duct tape you can over heat your body. Duct tape is not poris like fabric.

A couple of local high school kids made their prom outfits from duct tape. There was an article in the local paper about them last spring.

I've done that. It did work, and did hold up (even through a move) but I ended up not using it as much as I thought I would.

I made a stand for mine by putting a pole up into the body when I was stuffing it, and then putting the pole down into heavy cardboard/wooden spool like wire comes on (not sure where the spool came from, my mom had it). Then I adjusted the pole length so that the dummy's shoulder height was the same as mine, for help in hemming.

Oh look at all those yummy options:

I'd have to go for fluorescent green. Not sure why, but a size XL sitting in a corner needs to be noticed. My double would be the pretend palmtree replacement.

Hmmm...you'd probably need to be pretty quick about doing it then! I wonder how long it would actually take?

So, for those of you that's done this, would you care to show pics?
