I was checking out a quilted jacket, and came across a link to making your own dress form from duct tape!

It seems really easy and a cheap way to exactly replicate yourself to make your own clothes, etc.

I just wonder if it would hold up well, or fall apart the first time you used it?

    Here's the link:

    My DH had this done:

I'm not sure how long the duct tape would hold up.

Duh, me, It's the same one!! I can't find the one that was used on my DH.

    What a GREAT idea!

However, I'm not sure if I want my fabulous figure (snort!) eternalized... albeit by duct tape. Could I make one that was what I WANTED my body to look like?!
    Lol!!

I think this is a wonderful idea. Now I just have to get my 11 yr old to stand still long enough to do it. There's been many times that I've had to wait for her to get home from school so that I could fit a dress to her.
With the wonderful colors of duct tape that's available it you could make any color. I've bookmarked this and it's something I've GOT to try. I don't think I'll do one for myself though. No sense causing a duct tape shortage. LOL

Looks like a great idea! Not sure I'd want folks to see me in the corner. Ha! Where to hide-? :)

Duct tape comes in all kinds of colors. You can camouflage it to fit the surroundings.
