    Yes, I made a double bed quilt without batting. We enjoy it a lot. The girl who quilted it said it was a little harder to quilt without batting. She suggested if I were to make another, to put a light piece of flannel or something similar in it.

    I have not made one but I received a baby quilt without batting for my daughter when she was born 8 years ago. It was spring time and the quilt was made with quilter's cotton. I still have it and it looks brand new.

    Not yet. I am thinking about making a Cathedral Windows quilt, which are usually made without batting.
