my cat, Ginger, loves to lay on the quilt when I have it in the frame and not working on it. So when I finish the quilt I usually lay some batting on the frame so she can be comfortable until the next project..spoiled? You think!

I've been practicing on my longarm and gave our new puppy one of the practice pieces for his new dog house. He loves it. My husband laughed and said I was spoiling him - and shouldn't I make one for Red (95lb golden retriever)? So, I guess I'll have to another one. :-)

Misty has a quilt that I made to fit inside her carrier when she goes traveling with us. My sister made a 9-patch quilt for Bandit several years ago. She embroidered his name in the middle of one of the patches. When he died I kept his blankie along with his collar, leash and sweater. One day I want to put a sleeve on the back of the quilt so I can hang it on the wall.

I made one out of flannel for my cat Simon. He would lay on the back of my chair and the cat hair is hard to vacuum, the quilt is easier to wash.

Yes, I made Miss Molly a quilt out of left over flannel fabric. (Perfect size to practice FMQ). I have it on the sofa for her but she sleeps next to it not on it. Apparently she doesn't want to get fur all over it, better to leave it on our dark blue sofa.

My "first" quilt (and. . still the only :( ) technecally is not for the animals, but they all love it. When I want Truman to lay down and settle, often I get the blanket and put it on the floor. Works every time!

Mine have three. Here is my big baby with his quilt and easter lamb. He gets upset when his quilt is not spread out for him to lay on. This one has been washed about 100 times. They hold up pretty good.

My son and his wife have two adorable cats. I don't consider myself a cat person but I fell in love with these two, Emma and Bella. I made them a quilt and they fight over it! My DDL has to monitor the use of the quilt. I am in the process of making another one.
