    I just finished a raggy/shaggy baby quilt using denim & corduroy for the back--flannel for the front. I like it but my sewing machine did not like the corduroy at all. Denim was no problem but the corduroy kept shredding my thread. I'll use a heavier thread and a slight zig zag the next time I use corduroy. Mine was all recycled jeans and leftover flannel & batting scraps.

    the books were from the 90s, I no longer have them, but thought about it when cleaning out my closet and saw the chenille spread I never use.
