Default Have you used a Bloc Loc strip set ruler?

Have you tried this ruler or know anyone that has?

It is pricey but if it works properly could be really helpful for 4 patches and 9 patches even. I have many 4 patches in my future with the next few quilts I want to make and this would really help--if it works well.

I have the HST Bloc Loc rulers and they are fantastic.

Wow! I hadn't seen this before. Checked the bloc loc website and couldn't find it there:

I'd be interested to know if it is helpful. Hope someone posts!

I saw this at the last quilt show I went to. Looks like it would work, but I don't have problems with my strip sets, so I didn't get it. I have several sizes of their HST rulers and they are the BEST. Did you ever get their flying geese ruler sorted out?

I saw this last summer at a quilt show but wouldn't buy it from the vendor, she wouldn't demo it for me because she said she would have to do it for everyone and that would require her to waste too much of her fabric. I use the other Bloc Loc rulers a lot so I will eventually get this one.

here is the link for it on the bloc loc site: http://shop.blocloc.com/Bloc-Loc-Str...x-10-BL-SS.htm

There is a good video here done by Bloc Loc: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx6NIYz6YJ0

I'd love to know if it works as well on a 9 patch. I love the quilt behind the woman!! I found the pattern last week and now I can't remember the name or where I saw it but I decided it looked pretty hard and I would be frustrated with trying to get all the points to come out nice.

I have not seen this ruler in use yet but I have the HST ruler and love it. My piecing is so much better when using HSTs in my work. I can't say enough good things about the triangle ruler. I wonder if thier web site has a tutorial on the strip set ruler? they do have them for other rulers.
I am going to research this one for sure! TFS

This is the tute that shows how to use the ruler. It looks kind of neat, simple and quick. Thanks for finding it.

Well, I went ahead and took the plunge. I purchased it from Fat Quarter shop because they have excellent service and a good shipping rate. I even threw in a few additional items so it was good for them as well!! I'll come back to post a review after I get it. I'm just hoping it comes quickly. I am almost finished with my Jewels in the Curio quilt and hate to be down more than a day before starting something new. The ruler would have been great for that quilt as well since there were 128 4 patches.
