Thank you PokeyGirl. I am lucky to have the room. All 4 kids flown so now I'm using my bedroom and am sleeping in one of the girl's rooms.
    Cheers, and thanks.

Thank you to everyone of you lovely ladies. I am lucky to have the room. All 4 kids flown so now I'm using my bedroom and am sleeping in one of the girl's rooms.
Went to a LQS lesson today. The more lessons, the better my skill level.
    Hugs from Aus

Mal, welcome, I'm a newby so I can't say welcome back. Just been on QB since last Oct. and just love the friendliness of all the members. Do you have an interest in Vintage machines or just the new ones? Seems I've gotten interested in collecting vintage and QB is to blame! LOL Just love that thread, check it out.

Hi Mal, welcome back. I think I remember a few of your posts from 3 or more years ago? I tried to go back and look to see if I had the right guy....but I couldn't get that far back easily. So, I am going to take a chance that I am remembering the right person. I seem to remember you asking how long it took to make a quilt, talking about making your girls' prom dresses, and having a pattern in mind you wanted to make. I don't remember the pattern, as I was pretty much a newbie at the time. It was pretty and a bit involved looking...I do remember that.

I am glad you continued with the hobby. I remember wondering if you had decided to pursue it or had maybe given up.

...Now, if none of that is you....well, let me just welcome you back anyway. It's a great hobby and it sounds like you are way past being addicted!! I have been quilting just under four years and have made 76 quilts. It's an addiction I like...
