    I saw this quilt I love called Postcards from Hawaii. I have been collecting fabrics to make one similar. Here is a link:

    Whatever you do, it would so great with solid black sashing to make them stand out even more. The picture just jumped into my head.

    What about an origami quilt making little shirts out of the Hawaiian fabric? I saw one once that just shouted "Fun in the Sun"!!

    I love the Postcards quilt idea! I also have some Hawaiian fabrics from a trip with a close friend who passed away earlier this year. She spent 18 yrs in Hawaii and so we went twice. The post card idea seems perfect to me.

    Oh i love the postcards quilt. I think I will set it in black for a little something different. It will make all of the fabric pop :D she is a great friend :D
