People! People! You can't post a quickie about a retreat and not even tell us where it is, if it is annual and if it is open to non-guild members. Come now, there are rules...well, maybe not really rules, but there certainly should be!

This was for the Arkansas Quilt Guild. They have a 3-day weekend retreat like this twice a year, once in February and again in September. It's open to members and non-members alike. We actually picked up 4 new members this weekend as a result.

Does anyone know if there are any quilt retreats in or near St. Louis, MO. I am a new quilter but would enjoy something like this. Do you bring a quilt that you are working on or just a block that you need help with? As I said "I'm a new quilter" but would love more info.

Hi, Pamala. At ours, members bring whatever they want to work on and then just spend 3 days working on their projects, visiting, eating, etc. A very relaxing time.

Okay. Where do I find the info on the fall Arkansas retreat. My mom and I do a retreat in a different state each year and are looking for this year's!

It's going to be on September 10-12, 2010 and will be at the C. H. Vines 4H Center in Ferndale, which is just a little west of Little Rock.
