I am trying to find just a simple heart pattern that can be appliqued on a 6-8" square. I want to make a very simple and quick lap quilt for a friend who has been very kind to me.

that's what I did for my GD's heart quilt sewn onto 7 1/2" squares of tiny flowers on a beigepink background. She loves it.
