    Default heat n bond

Does heat n bond work well with the backing that you use on the back of drapes?

I imagine it would depend on the drape backing. I had a pair of drapes with a foam/rubbery backing that would not have liked the iron anywhere near them. You would have to carefully try a piece. Make sure it's heat n bond light, the regular is hard to sew through. (gums up the needle)
