it seems there is no way around smoothing and making sure everything is lined up right - no matter how the quilt is finished off - tied, hand quilted, machine quilted -

    Dang!

Thanks to everyone for their help!
I think I've finally figured it out. Had my rails tensioned too tight.
Once I loosened them up just a little, it all worked out. :D

Had the same Problem with the LArm which Grace is the same way ,I learned to use the Temporary Quilt Spray and Iron the Layers , Pins just left a Pucker,Put it on the ironing Board Backing 1st spray thenput on batting spray thenadd the top Iron the top then turn and iron the back too, If it's real soft fabrics I put spray starch on top and Back before Ironing it. It works like a dream for me and no Lumps or Puckers, Hope it helped!!! No the spray doesn't gunk up the needles.

:? I Know it's suppose to be no Basting but you have to baste it somehow or it just doesn't work with the LArm or the Grace as it is the same Thing when Loading it and all. Good Luck on your Quilting!!!
