Thanks! I am learning so much!

Dunster, you are so right! What was I thinking.

Dunster....good job. I was working on the block too.

Trisher....Here's a copy of my EQ file. Save a copy on your computer and that way you can see what I did and recolor if you want. When I save an EQ file, it goes to
    My EQ>>PJ7

Edited to add: I have never had a problem attaching a file, but for some computer reason, today I cannot. If you want a copy of the EQ file, please PM me your email and I will send the EQ file to you as an attachment.

    Thanks Barb!

I was able to finish the block to an (almost) perfect 12.5 inch square! Thanks everybody for all the math, the tutorials and EQ help. Here is my finished block:

If it's a little short of 12.5", it's probably a matter of pressing all the seams completely flat. With so many seams in the block, the little bits of "non-flatness" in each seam add up.

Trish I'm so happy for you!
I'm so challenged that I can't figure anything out but knew someone else would.
    I love your block!!

Your block turned out great. A good pressing will probably make it perfect. It is so wonderful to find all the helpful information here on the board - keeps us learning and being successful. Now I want to make those blocks. I love your fabrics.
